CHILD FIRST, through its various programs and activities designed to prevent dropout and recidivism, and to recover recent dropouts, will help increase the numbers of forgotten or ignored students who will persist in the K-12 pipeline to the high school diploma; and, thereby also increase the numbers of sudents who begin the first year of college and who ultimately attain their baccalaureate degree.
